2005 Chevrolet Corvette LS2

I entered it in two shows last year. It won First in its class in the first show. In the second show it took Third in its class. (I didn't know a fire extinguisher was required. so I lost points for that. )

It has a long list of factory & aftermarket options. From the factory it has a cold A/C with dual zone temperature control. AM/FM/CD with 6-disc capacity. Bose sound. keyless entry & start (w/ 2 fobs). power adjustable seats with memory. HUD. windscreen (anti-wind buffeting when top is down). tire pressure sensor system. etc. . etc. . etc. The aftermarket options include the exhaust system ("Loudmouth" I think?) and probably other HP enhancing items I'm not aware of. ZR-1 type rear fenders (slightly flared) to accommodate the wider rear tires that are mounted on RUFF 20" wheels. a carbon fiber trim kit. dark tinted windows. etc. . etc. The Nitto tires are nearly new. I had brand new rear 305/25 ZR 20 installed last year. and they only have about 585 miles on them. now. The tire dealership measured the tread on the front 245/30 ZR 20 Nittos & said they still had about 70% left & recommended waiting on them. (They look virtually the same as the new rear tires. )

My wife thinks this Corvette is "too noisy". and. since I like for my wife to go with me. it's rarely driven. We're a retired couple & the present owners of this car. It has an aftermarket exhaust system that is evidently part of a tuning package that adds about 30 or so to the rwhp & torque (see the previous owner's tuning charts that are attached). I think it has a very nice exhaust note. but I have to add that I have a hearing aid behind each ear. so I'm not that sensitive to sound. Unfortunately. my wife's ears are much more sensitive than mine. so I guess the Corvette has to go.

I'm not a mechanic (just a sports car addict for many years). but I would say this Corvette is in EXTREMELY good condition both mechanically & cosmetically. And. it is a VERY low mileage car with only about 28. 75 miles on it.
