1973 BMW 2002. manual. nbsp;absolute timewarp car recently discovered following the bereavement of its owner. it has covered a genuine 23. 00 mls from new. it has been stored in a very dry garage since 1981 and has none of the usual rot or rust associated with this model. bought from the local BMW main dealer in Bolton. it had first been their demonstrater car and was sold to the last owner at 8 months old so essentially a one owner car from new.

Finished in the original Ceylon gold with black trim. it has just been re-commissioned. new clutch. radiator. brakes overhaul etc etc at a cost of £2500. will be supplied with 12 months mot. comes with v5. original purchase invoice and handbooks. also comes with some old mot's (the last one expired in 1982).

It runs and drives great as you would expect

A real rare find. these early BMW's are increasing rapidly in price now and are tipped to be the car to buy at the moment by many experts in the classic car world.

There are a couple of marks to the paintwork due to storage. some small scratches to the bonnet on the n/s corner (see pic) and the original metallic paint has "matted" on the roof. bonnet and boot lid. ideally to make it immaculate I would say they need painting. I could have that done but I will leave that to the new owner as it still looks very presentable and it may be better to keep it original.

The interior is immaculate. but there is slight fraying of the drivers seat right in the centre of the squab. there is however a section of the original cloth supplied with the car should the new owner want that doing (quote for professional repair is £80)
