- Up for sale I have a very cool 53 Ford F100 short bed pickup.

- The pickup has a nice tidy recently rebuilt Chev 454ci big block. from what I understand this is a late 80's motor. possibly an LS7. It has full MSD ignition. MSD pro billet distributor. 4-barrel Edelbrock carb. and an Edelbrock alloy intake. The engine is bolted up to a turbo 400 trans. It also has Hooker headers. and a 3” twin exhaust system. it also has a large radiator with thermo fans. The truck runs very nice. the engine feels great. and sounds tough.

- The pickup has a modified factory chassis. with a Mustang II IFS front end. with tubular control arms and coil springs rather than the factory leafs. it has power rack and pinion steering and front power disc brakes. In the rear it has a 9” diff with drums. the truck drives very smooth and nice on the street.

- The pickup has been inspected and mod plated here in QLD by a certified engineer for the Mustang II front end. disc brake upgrade. rack and pinion steering. the engine conversion and also the transmission.

- The body is all original and all steel including the bonnet and all fenders and steps. The truck is very solid with no rust issues. it was purchased from LA and has spent its entire life in the southern Californian area and as a result the underside is nice and dry and clean and rust free. The paint finish is nice and glossy and shows very well. it has a great metallic that pops in the sun. It does have minor stone chips and minor wear and tear that you would expect with use as a driver. It is not a show paint job but perfect as a driver or weekend cruiser.

- It also has a new reverse tilt hood hinge kit that works great. anyone that has owned a F100 will tell you this makes it much easier to work in the engine bay.

- All the chrome work on the pickup is in fantastic condition especially the bumpers and grill.

- The interior of the pickup has been updated at some stage. with a new original style headliner. custom door panels and carpet and the addition of a non-factory electric bench seat. The original dash has been left uncut. the original gauges have been replaced with all new aftermarket gauges that work great and look great. It has a B&M floor mount shifter. all headlights. taillights. indicators etc work perfectly as they should.

- The truck has a great looking set of brand new custom made Detroit Steel. Mob Steel 20”x8” smoothies. front and rear with brand new 245/35/20 tyres and chrome bullet spider caps.
