1954 Mack B85 Antique Fire Engine for sale
Current customer rating: (1112 votes ) based onin a heated garage since the town of Marblehead. MA retired it from service. The Mack has brought us fond memories
but I feel the need to preserve my own town's piece of historic apparatus. a 1973 Ward La France. for many reasons. I want to sell it only to someone who will give it a proper home. Specifications 1954 Mack Type Fire Engine Class “A” Pumper Model: Mack B 85 Engine: ENF 707 B Gas. Thermodyne Six Cylinders. overhead Bore& Stroke 5”x 6” Piston Displacement 707 cu. in. Maximum horsepower: @2600 rpm 233 Transmission: Model TR671 5 Speed Manual Brakes: Hydrovac System. Rebuilt in 2005 Tires: 9. 00 x 20 Goodyear. Excellent Condition Length: 290” Overall Width: 75 9/16” Height: 87” Pump: 2 Stage centrifugal Tank Capacity: 200 gals. The engine runs strong and was last driven on August 22. 2013. It was last pumped five years ago but the packing is still wet. The original. historic documents and research including the delivery photograph. original bid sheets. maintenance records. and operators manual are included with the sale. Sale also includes a great deal of antique firefighting equipment such as: -hose-wooden ladder-attic ladder-axes -hard suction hose with strainer-pike poles-period correct Motorola radio-various nozzles -fire extinguishers Sale does not include the 12" Clear-Tone bell.
