1961 Caddy Eldorado Six Window Hardtop Sedan  had the original black and white Texas numberplates on it when we purchased it. As we have not registered it in Australia. you would be the second owner to register it. This vehicle was an everyday driver in the states and is therefore mechanically reliable. It does have everyday living traits . slight transmission leak. cracked side window glass. a few small dings in body trim but is very rust free for a 1961 Cadillac.  With a slight amount of work and a service this car is ready to drive and enjoy this summer. It is also a very good start to a show car standard Cadillac project. It has a smooth factory auto transmission. tastefully reupholstered interior in neutral black and grey and a fair metallic black paint job that we were told is 15 years old.  A new rear floor pan was fitted before we purchased it and this is often their problem area for rust. Drivers side rear quarter vent window trim is missing. Dash mat covers the cracked dash pad.   However. this is an above average example of a Cadillac of it's era and is a turn key driver that turns heads and can comfortably carry six in  true  Cadillac ''King of the Road'' style. This model is among the last of the big fin cars of the early sixties and they are becoming very sought after and therefore harder to find in this condition.
