1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

I am selling my 1972 Monte Carlo project to make room for a few other projects. The car is set up with a professionally built (Kraemer Racing) 496 cu. in. big block Chevy. that runs on pump gas. There is less than a 1. 00 miles on this engine. It has been dyno ran for break in & tuning. It is very streetable. but it does like VP fuel. too. Paint is good. but does have a few chips & such from driving. Trim is in great shape. It has a new vinyl top. Trunk panels should be replaced. which I had planned on doing. just haven't made it that far ( I have brand new panels from Year One. still in box. that will be included). Trunk has new weatherstrip seal (this was gone. therefore leading to water in trunk over the years. causing the trunk rust) Headliner could use a little stretching. This car has not been raced & you can drive it anywhere. It has all kinds of good stuff done to it & just needs a few things done to it to finish up. Fun car to drive & gets a lot of attention. I just don't have the time to enjoy it. The following are a few things that have been done:
ENGINE:496 Big Block Chevy (internally balanced) with forged Callies crank. H-Beam rods. forged pistons. ported heads (everything new in heads & engine). olid roller camshaft. roller rockers. Straub Technologies pushrods. 7-qt. oil pan with windage tray. Edelbrock high volume fuel pump. Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake. Pro Systems carb (set up specifically to this engine) These carbs are set up with instant response - no hesitation. MSD 6AL box with rev limiter. MSD Pro Billet distributor. MSD 8. 5mm wires. Hooker ceramic coated headers. Pypes 3" complete exhaust with x-pipe. aluminum radiator & transmission cooler. Engine has been dyno ran & made 609HP & 614TQ. I have all dyno sheets & most all engine component receipts.
TRANSMISSION - DRIVELINE:Monster Brand Transmission (Mega Monster TH400 - good to 750HP - 700TQ) with manual/automatic valve body. Monster brand 3200 stall convertor. G-Force heavy duty transmission crossmember. Hurst Quarter Stick with Roll Control. "Denny's Nitrous-Ready driveshaft with 1350 u-joints. Quick Performance posi-traction 9" Ford rear end (drop-in for Monte Carlo) with Nodular center section with 3:70 gear set. adjustable control arms & solid trailing arms. drag shocks. new front & rear coil springs (rear have 1" drop) all new front suspension components (tie-rods. center link. ball joints. A-arm bushings. ect. ) & a new gas tank.
INTERIOR:Has all new carpet. floor mats. seat skins. door panels (front & rear) new arm rests. new front glass. rear glass re-sealed. Autometer Sport-Comp gauges (oil pressure. & water temp. ) Autometer Monster tachometer with shift lite.  
WHEELS - TIRES:Rocket wheels with Firestone Firehawk tires. plus an extra set of the same Rocket wheels with a set of Nitto Drag Radials on them.
There are no warranties & car is sold as-is. There is more money in the driveline of this car than my starting price. No reserve! All the hard work is done. you just finish up a few things & get ready to tear up some asphalt. Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping. Payment due within 3 days of auction end!
