This 1970 project car has very few 428 CJ specific parts remaining as the drive train was replaced many years ago with a 1970 351C and FMX. The body is solid except for some rust in the driver side door and trunk lid. It has had some floor patches installed on the driver's side but they did a HORRID job of scabbing in 67-68 pans. Included with the car are excellent used floor pans for the driver side front and rear as well as a good door and trunk lid. I allowed $25. 00 trade for this car towards my numbers matching 1969 Cougar XR-7 428 CJ convertible that I sold for $80. 00 in Dec. 2011 (see third video below). I was going to fix this '70 up as a driver. leave the Cleveland and paint it semi-gloss black with the intent of collecting parts and doing a full restoration someday.  This is a real 428CJ Q-code / Ram Air car. one of 49 428CJ / Auto 1970 XR-7 convertibles made. Of the 49 total. just 25 are still known to exist. The twin to this car sold at Mecum Auctions in July 2009 for $118. 00. 00 in driver condition. When I say twin I mean exact in every way down to the dealer it was sold through. the only variation is the twin has AC. I am hoping the car brings $22k or more but the reserve is set lower.
