Due to a couple of complete wasters. The first who won the auction and then begged me to release him from the contract (which I did)The second who accepted the "second chance offer" and then went quiet over the deal. I find myself in the very embarrassing situation of re listing the car for sale again. This time on a "Buy It Now" or "Best Offer" formatwhich I hope will avoid any last minute bidders who get carried away with the moment and then want to back out.
This is an opportunity to buy this unique. one of a kind carThis car has stood untouched for many years. even so its history is well documented by previous press releases which can be found by clicking on the links.

The car will also appear in the October issue of Classic Car Magazine
So. how is the car today?
The body work is still in a good sound solid condition. thanks to the extra thickness of the the metal hand rolled panels. sills will need sorting though. Its VW underside and rolling gear also look sound. I have no idea to the condition of the Toyota 2 litre engine. but I don't see why this shouldn't also be good. as I would imagine it has hardly run since being installed when the original VW plant was taken out.
All the glass is in good condition.
It will need a complete interior. including seats.
Now to the subject that seems to frighten most people. ELECTRICS. As you can see in photo number 6. This car has a unique steering wheel and electrical wiring (part visible in the door panel) It is very intricate and probably unreliable. and even more probable. he fact that it would be impossible to trace each and every wire to see what its job is.
SOLUTION.
These electrics were installed to put this car on the cutting edge of technology. when it was built. the fact now is. with a modern day wiring harness. all those things that were cutting edge are now every day items in modern cars and wiring harnesses are equipped as standard to accommodate for such things as electric windows electronic entry/ locking systems. even steering wheels with a built in display are now available (But it would be nice to get the original working)
CONCLUSION
It the right hands this car could soon find itself  back on the road where it belongs. with its futuristic space age front end design sure to turn many heads.
I hold the V5
HELP
During the previous auction I was contacted by 2 avionic electrical experts. for who I have got phone numbers and contact details. so if you want to try and keep the car as it is electronically they have offered to help (fees to be negotiated with them)
Please feel free to ask any questions
To prevent any "no show bidders" a £200 fee is payable via paypal within 24 hours. otherwise I will relist or offer to the next highest bidderthe remaining fee will be cash on collection.
