Originally delivered to Jaguar Cars. New York. U. S. A. Chassis S 837251 then returned to the U. K. in the late 80's where it was returned to U. K. spec. It was also decided that the original 3. 4 engine be replaced by the more powerful 3. 8 engine combined with the race bred triple carb set up. Due to the extra performance now available the XK150 also needed more stopping power so cooper craft disc brakes were fitted all round. turning this XK150 into a real Drivers car. Now a few years after its restoration chassis S 837251 is still in excellent shape and still drives according with a sharp biting exhaust note. slick gear change and 1950's Le Mans winning performance!
