The last of the 60's High Horsepower Corvettes are one of the best Muscle Car bargains today. The 350 motor for 1969 was the last true small block motor prior to skimming down of horses during the gas crunch of the 70's. Anyone with a big enough set to take advantage of the power output of these cars could buy one. This particular 1969 350/350 HP Convertible. in the Corvette world. is one of the rarest examples to find. Equipped w/Factory Air Conditioning coupled to a factory 4 Spd. w/matching Hard Top makes it 1 of the top rated investments in this crazy marketplace. Originally bought new in Miami from Dumas Milner Chevrolet. Inc. on SW 8th Street & very special ordered by Paul De Angelis who was a local Miamian. Paul was smart enough to keep all the original paperwork that was importent including the original factory "Car Shipper" reciept stating the exact original order as well as the original bill of sale from November 30th. 1968 for a total of $5402. 82. Included in the list of options is a 4 Speed. an AM/FM radio. Air Conditioning. White wall tires. Tinted Glass. 3. 70 Positraction. 350 CI Engine. Audio Alarm. Black Conv. Top & Black Vinyl Hard Top (included with this sale). It also has its original owners manual. spare tire card & a host of maintenance on the car from new. It also has its original Dealer Folder from Dumas Millner so its provanance is perfect from new. After Paul was tired of the beautiful Roadster. it was owned for the last 26 years by Roger Carlton. also of Miami. Florida. Roger wanted an all original Corvette Roadster w/Air Conditioning. When he found this cool high horsepower example his eyes lit up. What Roger found has its original White paint still intact. it has some major patina yet it still looks great. It has a mixture of weather checking & various nicks here & there. Nothing was covered up to look better than it is so you can see just how cool & all original this Vette really is. Inside the Black interior is also untouched except for maybe the leather seat covers & a leather steering wheel cover. Its original Black soft top is aged & worn having a few minor tears in it but it's to cool & original for Roger nor us to replace. We are told by Roger that its 350/350 block was replaced during its early life by Chevrolet under warranty. We are still trying to find that paperwork since both previous owners kept such good records. These early 350's were known for overheating when new. it was done supposedly within the 1st 6 months of its life. Essentially this 350 block has been in this car for the last 43 years. The factory Black Vinyl Hard Top is also included. It is in excellent shape too. She runs fantastic & the A/C is Ice Cold. Having a mere 54K original miles makes this little White Corvette quite the find & she is now ready to be judged by any NCRS Club event nearest you. Even better. just enjoy the moment & show her off to all that can appreciate what it's like to own a completely original 1969 Corvette.
