I am selling this great 1957 Chevy Belair 2 door hardtop for a long time friend of mine that has decided it is time to find it a new home. The high bidder will own the car. Do not bid unless you have the means to purchase it as we take this auction seriously. If you have a feedback of less than 3 please contact me first before you bid.
As you can see from the photos of the car it is in very nice condition. The Corvette yellow paint is in very good condition as it has been color sanded and buffed. I did not see any dings dents or scratches. There is no signs of rust on the body. The chrome and stainless steel is all very shiny with no dents. The stainless trim has all been buffed with no signs of pitting. The glass is all good and looks new with no scratches. All the rubber and cat whiskers have been replaced. The bumper. grill and headlight buckets all look new. The undercarriage is driver quality that has been sprayed flat black. with no rust. the floor pans and frame rails are all in great shape.
Moving on to the interior it has a black velour interior with black bucket seats and black carpet. The headliner is done in the same fabric as the seats. The overall condition of the interior is excellent. it shows no wear. The dash has been resprayed with no wear on the steering wheel. All instruments seem to be working with the exception of the gas gauge.
The trunk is also done with carpet. and there is a spare tire and jack with the car.
The drive train is a 327 cubic inch Chevy 700R4 Trans (4 Speed Auto) . The engine has an eldebrock intake and 4 barrel carbuerator with a low gear rear end. The owner states that it can chirp the tires with ease. The car runs out good. The brakes are at the top. front disc. and dual master cylinder. There is very little play if any in the steering.
This is a great car to drive and enjoy. This cannot be built for this price.
