The 1958 Chevrolet Impala is one of the most beautiful cars to ever leave Detroit
and the collector market is continuing to recognize that with higher values.

The convertibles from the late fifties are increasing in value and this lovely car
is a great example. Only two owners in the last fifty five years and much like it
the showroom in 1958.

Just arrived. this car was purchased by Roger Elsbernd of Crosby. North Dakota
at Tuftedal Chevrolet. Roger and his family were farmers. At only 23 years old. he
was washing cars at the dealership for extra money. This car was ordered by a
customer that got tired of waiting. so Roger bought the car.

Roger was a single guy and courted his future wife in this car.
When he went into the military in the early sixties. the car was
stored on blocks while he was gone.

A farmer all his life. this car was used on his farm as a daily driver.
Roger passed away in 1993 when the car was 35 years old. His family
cosmetically restored the car in the early 1990's. It was sold to Owner #2
in 2008 and lovingly cared for until his passing. Our shop has just
completed a refresh including the first complete engine rebuild at 104K miles.

In my opinion. this car has some of the best body lines of any Chevrolet ever.  

Repainted about twenty years ago in its original Snowcrest White. it is still in
very nice condition. At that time. the tri-color Red. Silver. and Black interior
was updated with the correct replacement fabrics.
New carpeting. convertible top and boot were added at that time.
Chrome is new or excellent original condition.

This car is equipped with the highly desirable original 348 cubic inch V-8 engine.
Factory tri-carbs and original three speed manual transmission.
