1931 Model A Speedster – look alike Brass era 1914 Stutz Bearcat.
It was my long time dream to build a brass era look-alike 1914 Stutz Bearcat using the very dependable Model A Ford chassis.

All trim on this era car is brass. Please note the brass radiator I fabricated.

Note the rivets. everywhere. but  noticeable on the fenders stay with the 1914 building methods.

The exquisite headlights are from a 1912 car. model unknown. converted to 6 volts high and low beam for safe driving. The  adjustable windshield is full width for driver and passenger safety.

The wiring is all marine grade cable. The lights are 6 volts. turn signals. cowl and tail lights are wired as typical Model A. very simple and dependable.

The car trunk is from 1930's era.   It is all metal and nicely painted to match. These days while traveling to car shows or  running every day errands a trunk is welcomed storage.

The trunk and gas tank are both functional and add to the original classy look.
The gas tank holds approximately 15 gallons. Fuel gauge built in – see photo of my opening gauge lid.

The diamond pattern leather seat was created by hand from one whole hide. The seat is adjustable for driving comfort.

The car has four brand new tires and two spares. The two spares are older but with new looking tread. Back in 1914 the roads were in poor condition and cars carried two or more spare tires.

The paint is a cream color easy to look at and off-sets the brass very nicely. The pin striping wide and narrow is authentic to the era.

Also authentic to the period were metal rivets. Take note of the rivet and spacing along the fender tops and hood.

Please note the Swan on the radiator cap. which ties into the baked enamel emblem SWAN.
I named the car SWAN because this is my original design. Call it what you wantbut call it yours and drive in pride.   You'll definitely impress the guys!

NO FIBERGLASS ANY PLACE on the car!

The car is titled as a 1931 Model A Roadster. I titled it this way purposely as a convenience so whoever buys the car can change the body style if so desired and still keep the title in tact.

While the car is complete and you might wonder why I'm selling it. I have too many cars.

My dream was to build it. source the parts. make a show stopping. reliable vintage brass era car and I did it!
There are 90 miles on the speedometer since completion.

                                                                                Lucky you who wins it!
