1974 FORD Capri MK 1 (imported by Lincoln Mercury) LHD with robust. original V6 2800 cc engine.  Black vinyl interior. New bucket seats and rear bench seat upholstery in original pattern. New full length dash cover from Team Capri. Five (5) new Kuhmo radial tires. Six (6) original styled steel wheels. 5 restored. Car was the subject of a frame on restoration by 55 Restorations of Oklahoma City. Oklahoma. Painted the original factory. one year only color. Competition Orange. Chrome bright work is in very good condition. All original date coded window glass. Complete brake system rebuilt; Power front disc brakes. rear drums. performed by The Vintage Connection. Holley 4 barrel carburetor rebuilt. Offenhauser low-rise intake manifold. Rust Free body and chassis. Full instrumentation on the V6 models includes Speedometer. tachometer. fuel gauge. oil pressure gauge. temperature. ammeter. Original AM radio. Working. Old school. vintage eight track tape player. New stainless steel exhaust. V6 2800 cc. Factory Capri V6 valve covers. Automatic choke. Fully synchronized four (4) speed manual gearbox. floor mounted shifter. Electrical system 12 volt. The bumpers shown on the car were installed at the factory and are original equipment to the Capri. The bumpers can be easily removed with a socket wrench in less than ten minutes. The smaller. chrome bumpers from the earlier year(s) can be fitted with very little modification.  

Additional High Resolution photographs are available upon request. Straight. accident free. and rust free chassis. New. full length. dual stainless steel exhaust system. new dual mufflers. Paint was color matched to original orange paint in the trunk. Rust free trunk. Ask questions. I will provide answers.  

I will share a  cold start video of the V6 2800 cc original engine with any interested party via email. The Capri starts easily. and runs excellent. This was the largest displacement offered in the Capri.  

The last four pictures depict the car prior to restoration (2 photos with bumpers removed). and 2 photos during the frame on restoration at 55 Restorations of Oklahoma City. OK.

This is the first generation Capri. Built from 1969 - 1974. thus the MK1 model designation. This is arguably the most collectible Capri model. with the largest displacement available. the V6.  This is painted in its original factory color. only offered one year. "Bright Orange" or Competition Orange.

Saturday. February 4. 2017. COMPRESSION TEST RESULTS: All 6 cylinders registered 135-140 on meter. Engine sounds great.
