PAUL SMITH LIMITED EDITION CLASSIC MINI for sale
Hi and welcome to the sale of my Paul Smith Mini Limited Edition
It's for sale as I have just purchased an MG metro cup car and need to raise funds for a season of racing.
I've tried to capture in the photographs bespoke items that are clearly identifiable on the Paul Smith LE classic mini and the excellent condition of this very desirable iconic car
I have over 150 photographs of the preparation work that has been carried out on my pride and joy. I've replaced the drivers side wing due to damage and the passenger a panel only because of a small rust bubble. These were replaced with heritage panels only. The outer sills are the original factory fitted. along with the boot floor. rear valance. scuttle. doors. etc which is quite surprising as most of you will know these later minis do suffer more than most for corrosion. I've owned quite a few minis and this is the first that has only needed one very small plate welding on the n/s inner sill. Again fully photographed at the time.
If I could upload more pictures. I would particularly of the floors. rear pockets and inner boot corners. etc. as these are just as they left the factory and have no corrosion at all.
Due to replacing the wing and a panel I decided to have the mini painted all over to attain a full colour match. The majority of Paul Smith blue minis tend to fade with sunlight and with the body of the mini being in such good condition. I didn't want to scrimp on the final finish.
It has covered just under 28. 00 miles and comes with a full MOT. I've replaced the rear shoes. rear cylinders. front n/s & o/s top and bottom ball joints. front wheel bearings. oil. oil filter. air filter. clutch and brake fluid. nbsp;spark plugs. as these to me are the main serviceable parts. I haven't changed the ignition leads as these are the factory numbered green ones.
The green leads. green glove box and signature plate. green boot shelf. denim jack bag. green rocker cover. PS rear window sticker and boot badge. front bonnet badge are all original and are all intact. Along with the Service book and wallet.
The blue dash and full leather interior really set off this model in the LE factory specification without requiring any additional modifications. Everyone that has seen my mini comments on just how good a condition it's in

The small amount of damage to the front wing and headlight meant that this mini was classed as a damaged repairable vehicle and this in no way reflects its current condition. Lots of time and effort has been spent in saving this beautiful limited model Paul Smith mini only 300 of which were produced in PS blue
