A lot of soul searching has gone into taking the decision to sell him. Offered here is my beautiful and beloved Lancia Gamma 2500 Berlina. Well known within Lancia circles having been showing on the NEC stand of the Lancia Motor Club. and heavily featured in the Classic Car press over the last few years. he is one of the best Gamma Berlinas left on the road in the country. Finished in Amaranto with a fabulous original bright red cloth interior. this Gamma was the subject of light recommissioning four years ago. after spending many years laid up off the road. Structurally. it is totally solid – with no welding ever having been carried out to the sills. floors or wheel arches. At the time of the recommissioning. brand new headlights were fitted and a great amount of attention was paid to the detail of the car. The wheels. door handles and even the badges were all refurbished to a high standard. adding to the crispness of overall appearance. Internally. the car is completely original. The bright red interior is fresh and the seats still shapely and supremely comfortable. Mechanically it is in top order too. with everything having been done as and when necessary. Last year it completed a totally trouble free trip to Europe. covering over 1200 miles in four days. 3 up. with a boot of luggage. often at three figure motorway cruising speeds. Don't be put off Gamma ownership by hearsay stories. Gamma really is a true luxury express. To drive one is an exceptional experience. The poise. handling. ride. performance. torque – quite unique still today. and unmatched for a car of it's era. It has a full stainless steel exhaust. recent new cambelts. excellent tyres. and it ready to drive off and put on any show stand – or use as a rewarding daily classic that turns heads and gains admiring glances wherever it goes.
