This is a true numbers matching California car. I am the 2nd owner of this 70 Cougar. It has the original blue plates with yellow numbers/letters. Providing the car sells. the California plates will go to the perspective owner if from California. However. if sold out of the state of California. I will retain the license plates.

The original 351W motor was rebuilt to stock specifications approximately 2. 00 miles ago. It has the original automatic transmission and rear end. The rear end is not posi-traction. It's all original.

I had the vacuum A/C and the heater options replaced with an electronic system. I have the original vacuum controls that were removed from under the dash and the parts will go with the car.

The interior is mostly a survivor. The rubber floor mats for the driver and passenger sides are original with the Cougar logo embossed on the mats.

The car has approximately 90. 75 original miles.

It has had a recent repaint similar to the original color.

Since I have had the car for about 6 years. I have had the front manual brakes converted to power brakes and had the drums replaced on the front with a disc brake conversion kit that was purchased through West Coast Classic Cougar located out of Washington state. I have purchased most of the replacement parts as either used or OEM. I also purchased a center console from West Coast Classic Cougar as this is a custom made console. I have also installed a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo located under the drivers seat. amplifier is located under the passenger seat and had 6" speakers installed in the rear package tray area.

The car has the AM/FM Cougar dash mounted radio. I have also added a tachometer that was custom made at the location of the clock blank. I have the original clock bank as saved when the tachometer was installed.

I have the original drums for the front brakes and the old AC vacuum unit that was located under the interior dash.

I have the original owners manual. 5 original shop manuals and a collection of receipts in a binder that would support my investment to date. I have more than $20k invested into this really nice driver.

Serious inquiries only please. Any questions and or reasonable offers. please correspond through my Ebay email account.
