1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Selling my '57  wagon. have to many projects and going to make some room.
this is a very straight project that already has alot of work done . and still needs some minor stuff . but just needs a little to be able to cruise around and with a little TLC will be great winter fixer upper and this spring you will be ready !!!

First the motor. its the original 283 with F404F on motor stamp . I have looked this up and it shows a 57 dealer replacement engine. it has the 2 speed power glide with R all the way to bottom. engine runs good and since a fuel line is needed I have been running on small tank with electric fuel pump. the next thing to do to make perfect would be drop the tank and see how it looks and if no issues . install fuel lines . have leak in radiator but looking for one now . so may be installed on car within the next week.   new ones are around $150.

the interior needs the most work   . I have carpet ordered and looking for a nice bench seat. have a new model buckets I have been using when driving car . but when carpet comes in  hopefully will be able to put in and put a nice bench seat in. needs all door panels and even though headliner is there    he is very old   but not ripped up. nbsp;  have the original fold down seat but it will need complete re do   .

the pans have rust issues  and both the drivers side and the passenger side has been patched and a couple small places in back have been patched    after taking old carpet up   the pans can be replaced at any time and will not interfere with driving  but to make pristine. the floor will and bottom door panels will need work at some time   all these parts are easily available and a weekend of welding . car would be ready to go anywhere any time 

have all the trim except the back glass trim and it needs a couple glasses replaced but windshield and the expensive back curved glass is in good shape   all the doors open and close good and back tailgate door opens and closes good and window has all hardware and raises and lowers good. trim tag shows car came from factory matador red with ivory top.  


I am sure there is something I am missing but all in all this is a really cool old car . but is still what I would call a project. it cranks. runs drives. and stops. has the disc brake kit already installed and as I complete things . price will go up. right now selling at a low low start price of $6000 with a buy it now at $8500 with no reserve    so bid to win and ask any questions to make this a smooth easy transaction. car is for sale locally so auction can end early    good luck bidding
