There has been plenty of interest in this car. but not at the right price. so its re-listed with a "buy it now" price only.

Up for sale here is this classic American Muscle car from the Ford Motor Company. The Torino was Ford Motor Company's ultimate NASCAR weapon and the GT was the result of the "race on Sunday. sell on Monday" concept.

This particular GT 351 was produced by Ford at their Atlanta plant. I personally purchased this Torino GT 351 from a Ford Dealer in Alabama USA late in 2011. This car is of such outstanding quality. that Alabama Ford displayed this car on their main showroom floor alongside their new Mustangs. Fusions and other new car stock. It didn't look out of place sitting alongside their new car stock and attracted lots of attention.

This Ford Torino GT 351 is in near perfect. "fresh as the day the factory made it" condition. It is an investment quality motor vehicle and is in awesome condition in every respect.

This car has had only two previous owners. and I have been in contact with both owners. The original owner. Mr Poe. purchased the car brand new in 1970 as a surprise gift for his wife. It was used infrequently as Mrs Poe wasn't happy that it wasn't air-conditioned. A neighbour became the second owner and has lovingly restored the car to its factory fresh condition. following which it was placed into his private collection of rare performance Fords. Again. it was used infrequently but did win a number of trophies at car shows in the USA. The car has since won a trophy here in Australia as best in class at the Geelong "All Ford Day".

I have a lot of the original owners documents. including 'temporary owners ID card' from Ford. plus the original books. including the original Ford factory Build Sheet.

This car gets lots of attention on the road. lots of thumbs up. comments. photographs and interest because it is different. distinctive and classically American muscle.

I would describe this vehicle as being an 'investor' and 'collector quality' vehicle. It presents as near new. It runs true. straight and strong. It starts first time every time. It shifts as it should. and purrs like a big cat. The 5. 8 litre 351cubic inch engine is strong. and has the sought after 4v option. The engine features high quality Ford chrome valve covers. chrome oil pan. and chrome Ford air cleaner assembly. It also features a MSD electronic ignition pack for improved starting and performance.

It makes beautiful music via large free flowing twin "Flowmaster" exhausts. The body is 100% rust free. the torque boxes. sills and panels are all strong. and the vehicle retains all of the original spot welds. showing that it is true. original. and not some patched up jalopy. The paint is clear coat over base and is near flawless.   The underbody is equally clean and fresh. EVerything is new including upper and lower control arms. ball joints. rubbers. bushes and clips. Nothing has been left unrestored.

This car hasn't been driven in the rain since it was restored. The chrome and stainless work is absolutely superb. This GT simply sparkles from every angle - top to bottom. inside and out.

Everything is here on this vehicle and this presents the next owner with nothing more to do. other than to drive it. show it off. nbsp; and enjoy it. This 1970 Torino GT 351 4v is as PERFECT as they get.

This vehicle is presently registered on Club Registration which can not be transferred. You will need to register it or apply for club plates after you purchase it.

This 1970 Ford Torino GT 351 4v can be collected and driven away or I can assist if you prefer to have the vehicle collected by a freight company (I'd suggest a prestige vehicle specialist with a fully enclosed truck. such as Alans Unique Car Carriers to do the job). The car has a recent Roadworthy Certificate and everything works. You will have no issues passing registraton.
