One of the 37 Indy 500 Pace Cars on the track. This was not the actual car that ran out in front of the racers. but was a backup/parade car.
According to the 1972 Hurst Olds registry. it was car #34; driven by Indy 500 Director Elmer Ostermeyer during the parade and festivities.

This car wins about every show it enters. including the Texas Gulf Coast Oldsmobile show.
The original yellow flags and mounts were long gone. so we had correct replicas custom fabricated for easy mounting to the rear frame. They are removable with basic hitch pins.
Color copies of the original documentation papers are framed for presentation at car shows (the originals are in a secure place)
The car is in fantastic condition and runs beautifully. The A/C blows cold with a new A6 compressor.

If you are in Texas. the 1972 Texas License Plates will also go with the car. It was titled with those plates. Clear Texas Title with no liens.
