1974 FORD XB GS PACK V8 FALCON 500 UTILITY  

SPECIAL ORDER - RARE TRIPLE BLACK


How many factory Onyx Black XB GS utes have you seen?


First time offered for sale since I bought it new from Holmesford GT Zone. Sth Yarra in 1974. this is a ONE OWNER rare special order triple black Falcon 500 XB GS Pack utility fitted with the matching numbers 302 cubic inch V8. T-bar automatic. black trim and black tarp.

Ford Australia Verification letter: Only 45 Ford XB utilities in total were made in Onyx Black. none if any besides this one have survived. Comes with owner's service books and original sales receipt with my name on them – I am the original owner. Original issue black & white Victorian number plates. never been unregistered since new.


Worn in. not worn out.

This car was featured in Survivor Car Australia magazine. it has mostly original aged paintwork. Showing 415. 00 original careful kilometres. it will need some TLC (it has some bumps and bruises. some rust and battlescars). The interior has the expected wear and tear. This car is still being used as a daily driver. although sparingly because of a bad hip – it has always been garaged under cover. Engine and drivetrain run well and have always been well maintained.

It's a pity the Ford factory has closed its doors. as they certainly don't make them tough like this anymore. After 42 years of ownership. it'll be hard to let the old girl go - Will only sell to good home.
