My beloved little Golf. 'GARY' is up for sale.
I never thought this day would come. unfortunately 2 other cars. a motorbike. 2 kids a wife and london rent prices have forced me to sell the car!
Owned for 10 years
97000 miles
12 months MOT
Fresh oil and oil filter just done
Reg' plate valued at £500
Excellent working order!

Dont make assumptions based on the condition of the body work. this car is 35 years old and has been used the whole time. Even when running one of my other cars this one was garaged and was regularly started and driven around and if anything needed doing I got it done.
This is no half finished project like so many other Mk1s for sale. Its a car that has always been running and maintained regardless.

Converted to electronic fuel pump
Excellent starter
Warms up and maintains correct engine temp with fan cutting in and out as it should
10 years of good care this car runs great :)
80mm lowering kit by spax
7 x 14 banded steel wheels on 175/50 tyres (2 years old ish)
tyres wear evenly
2 folders full of receipts and history

Some bad points i should mention. br>The boot will let in water if its out in heavy rain. Seems to come in from under the rear. near side window seal.
Interior carpet removed and not replaced. (£160 from VW heritage)
