1964 Chevrolet Impala

For Sale is a 1964 Chevy Impala 4 Dr hardtop “Survivor”. This is a hard to find “No Post” hard top. When the windows are down there is nearly 6 feet of open window area. The car is in complete original condition with just over 76. 00 actual miles. It has the original 283 V8 2 bbl carb with a 2 speed automatic powerglide transmission. AM radio. bench front and rear seats. Everything is original including the upholstery. carpet. paint. chrome. headliner. door trim etc. It even has the original additional windshield water reservoir.

   I have replaced the exhaust. trunk floor pan. heater hoses. belts. flushed the radiator. and serviced the transmission. It also has 4 newer tires. Since the car is in its original state it does have the normal wear and tear and some cosmetic and equipment issues you would expect on a 52-year-old car such as blemishes. dings and small dents in the chrome trim. some tears in the seat upholstery. wear on the arm rests. rubber window seals. electric clock does not work. etc. This car is in great shape for the age of the car it is used but well cared for.

    Since the 64 Impala is such a popular. highly recognized and sought after car. all of the replacement trim. upholstery and other parts and equipment is easily available through many catalogs and on line sources.

   If you're going to Hot Rod it. restore it. hop it. slam it. chop it. muscle it. or leave it as is and just enjoy it. you won't find better bones than this car at this price. This car just floats when you drive it. a very smooth ride. I have driven it on many cruises and it starts and runs like a top every time. It sits low and it changes your attitude and personality when you drive it. Its just COOL!

Added 10-9-2016. also included is a fitted California Car Cover. and 2 rear fender well stainless steel skirts which you see in the pictures. Added picture of headliner and the 2 small spots above the driver door otherwise the headliner is tight and hangs as it should and in very good shape. Also included pics of the wire basket wheel covers. engine and the only rust spot I found on the car is located ahead of the passenger door at the bottom of the front fender panel. The bottom of the car is under coated and all 4 inner fender wells.
