Please. bid only if you can afford to within 3 days of auction's end. No zero- or low-feedback buyers without contacting me first. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions.   I am willing to end the auction for the right offer. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have it advertised locally as well.

This is the perfect entry-level classic Mustang that retains all the style and class it was born with. won't break the bank. won't cost you a fortune to maintain and insure. and will only go up in value.   In short. this car is a winner.    Classic styling. bucket seats. stick shift. dual sport mirrors. and that signature Mustang front end make this a very attractive car to own.

Fantastic and original 1970 Ford Mustang L-code manual transmission two-door hardtop coupe for sale.   Classic Mustangs this original and unmolested don't come up very often. and this is a good one.   The car is in very nice overall original survivor condition. with extremely straight original body panels. wearing one very shiny older repaint in original Wimbledon White.

The chrome is bright and shiny. the glass excellent and undamaged all around. with windows that roll up and down smoothly.   The doors. deck lid. and hood open and close smoothly as well. with excellent panel alignment.   The grill is perfect. as are the original hubcaps on factory steel wheels (spare included!).

The original bucket seat interior upholstery is in excellent condition. with only one small nick in the driver's seat corner.   Above. a perfect un-torn headliner and optional shoulder belts are present.   Excellent door panels. carpet. dash. gauges. etc.   round out the interior.   The odometer shows just under 42k miles. and the gauges. lights. turn signals. wipers. etc. are all in proper working order.   The ashtray looks to never have ben used. the seatbelt buzzer still works. dome light works. etc

Equipped with its' original smooth running. reliable. and economical straight six engine and 3-speed manual transmission. the car runs and drives just great.   Regular routine maintenance has always been performed. Recent improvements include new front disc brakes. new radial tires on original wheels. a fresh front-end alignment. a new muffler. fresh tune-up parts. fresh fluids and filters. newer shock absorbers. and more.   The underhood area is very clean. as you can see.   The transmission shifts smoothly. the clutch is good. and the factory reverse-only steering wheel column ignition lock is still functional.

Unlike earlier model years. by 1970 the 6-cylinder models had the full-sized 5-lug hubs. larger rear axle. brakes. etc. like the V-8 models.   This makes them an attractive candidate for a contemporary 5. 0 Coyote modular or traditional V8 swap. etc.   This one is so clean and original I wouldn't change a thing.   By and large. the 6-cylinder models were purchased for economy. and driven easily. not abused.

No floor. trunk. or undercarriage rust; only the most minor of paint blisters beginning to appear near the lower rear quarters (detailed in images following); very minor and no perforations.   Clear title. matches VIN exactly for inspection and export.

While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible. it is in fact a 46-year-old classic car. and therefore being sold as-is. without warranty or guarantee expressed. written. or implied.

Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction's end via deposit into my Bank of America account. or bank wire transfer.   Title will follow car in ~4 weeks. as I just processed the paperwork.

Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times. ultimately the choice must be yours alone.

Feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have.
