1988 Lincoln Mark Series LSC for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 208 votes
Up for sale is an LSC that has less than 16. 00 miles. Every aspect of the car shows this. If you know cars. especially these cars. you will see this upon first sight.

This car is a color called Dark Cabernet which is a dark red/maroon. It's a deep dark red. This car is equipped with Sport Delete seats which was an option/substitute for a more comfortable seat in the LSC model. The comfort is in line with the Bill Blass model with a sportier look.

The value is truly in this car when you look at a car you can get in and go. The chrome is phenomenal as is the rubber and items such as moldings and bumper pads. The original Carlite glass is like new. The door window belt sweep moldings are like new. The exterior of the car is exceptional. as well as the interior. It still smells inside like when they were new. Everything in the car works including tripminder clock. overhead compass. AC display. door lock actuators. keyless entry. and power seats and windows and mirrors. A/C is cold and heat is hot.  All power options work. The Marchal (factory) foglamps are present. work. and have the original covers. The keyless entry pad looks new and all numbers can still be read. The Air suspension is in place. working. and does not leak. The car leaves no spots on the floor in our warehouse. It even has the original Lincoln floor mats in new condition. This car even has the original wiper blades on it. The windshield lower molding is still semigloss mat black. not faded grey.  The bumper pads are alive and not dry.  The chrome is bright.  It's truly a buy and drive car.

It's still wearing it's original tires.  This is also an additional verifying factor of the mileage. not that you would need to if you saw the car.  The rims are spotless.

The original manuals. MSRP window sticker. and bill of sale are present as well. The radiator support still shows the original manufacture date in chalk showing this car has not weathered. This usually wears off from rain and car washes.  The numbers here are legible and bright.  The plug wires still show the 1988 date as well.
You will love this LSC. The price is far cheaper than it would cost to restore one to this condition (if you can even find all the restoration parts). The value is deep in this one and it has all the cool paperwork collectors like.  It has the MSRP sticker. original bill of sale. manuals. case. even the original owners card which looks like a credit card with name and VIN.  It also has handwritten logs of records from the original owner.  We bought this car from the daughter of the original owner who inherited it.  It was always garaged and well kept and it shows.  The car is stunning to approach and get in.  The Sport Delete seats are beautiful. rare. and more comfortable than the traditional LSC seats.  This option is listed on the window sticker.  All VIN tags are present on removable panels including bumpers and valences.  They are legible and clean as can be.  The undercarriage looks as good as the car.  It has a new exhaust system that replaced the original that was getting loud at the seams.  We did not detail this car or clean it up to look like this.  It arrived this way.  Even the hood liner will amaze you.

Here is the "negative" about this car and its not so bad.  We can see that the passenger fender has been repainted as it is a slight shade off. We do not see traces of repair (plastic/bondo) work.   You can see this in direct sunlight but does not show up in pictures and is not very noticeable in person.  People have looked at the car and didn't notice it until we pointed it out.  The fender is original and has its factory VIN to prove it.  Every removable panel has its VIN.  The difference with us and some of the other cars you see. is that we disclose what we know.  This does not take away from the beauty of this car.  It is quite a car.
This car runs and drives like a pretty new LSC should.  This is a car that qualifies to be a garage queen.
One of owner's of our dealership has owned several of these in his small collection over time and knows the cars very well.  You will speak with him directly for information.  You will be hard pressed to find one in this condition and in this price range.
The normal areas of concern on these cars are:
For rust - the rocker panels. and the sail panel by the rear window.  This car has zero rust issues - in fact. the rockers are still semigloss from the factory and not dry and faded.  The sail panels are like new.
For dry rot - the belt sweep moldings. body ribbed moldings. wheel molding gaskets. bumper pads. and black coating on chrome moldings around windows - This car has no issues with this.  In fact. if you are a true LSC fan. these areas will make you cry in excitement.
Chrome - No issues here. like new
Keyless Entry Pad - no oxidation on plate. and numbers look like they were painted on today and it all lights up and works.  Even the door locks have the light working around the keyhole
Steering wheel - alot of these cars have glue oozing from the sport holes - this wheel is incredibly new looking and doesn't even have fingernail damage
Leather - Incredible - It doesn't look like the dry worn out ones in a lot of these cars
LED readouts - all work in this car.
Center console - leather looks new
Carpets and Floormats look new.
Glass - all original carlite and still has buckle up stickers.
2 sets of original keys.
