Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car. in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight. in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.
West Coast Classics are proud to present a great daily driving example of this rare and last year year 'Limited Edition' 1980 MGB Convertible original owner car in all original unrestored condition with a 4 speed manual transmission with rare factory overdrive and even rarer dealer installed air conditioning and beautifully presented in it's original 'Black' color paint with 'Limited Edition' graphics and 'Champagne' color seats and black carpets!

In 1979 MG introduced a handful of special models to celebrate 50 years of production at Abingdon. the 1. 00 UK-market Limited Edition cars being the last built there before the factory's closure in October 1980. At the same time another Limited Edition model - an all-black roadster - was released in the USA. celebrating 30 years of MG sales there and built to that market's special requirements.

The final MGBs to be produced for 1980 were named “Limited Edition. of which the first examples were shipped into Canada in late 1979. The Limited Edition cars for the American market were shipped to the U. S. in October of that year and came with one fan instead of two. All of these final MGBs were finished in black with gunmetal-grey side stripes along the body and a front spoiler below the polyurethane nose. Additionally. these cars came with five-spoke alloy wheels. manufactured by GKN with MG hub center appliqués.
special body striping and subtle interior upgrades and a luggage rack. A “Limited Edition” dash plaque was installed on the glovebox as well. Of all the rubber bumper cars. this is the most collectible model and the one to look for. The 1980 MGB Limited Edition was probably the best MGB ever made. The Limited Edition (Made for the USA) was shipped to the USA in 10/79 (with one fan. rather than two) and they introduced it with the Champagne interior. The manufacture of all MG's ended in 10/1980. This particular car was built in May of 1980.

The car was sold to its original and only registered owners on 2/11/1981 at 'Prestige Motor Cars' of Las Vegas. NV where the dealer installed air conditioning. a very unique and extraordinarily rare option in any MG as any enthusiast will confirm!
