 This is a rare 4 wheel HORSE DRAWN HEARSE. IT IS 100% ORIGINAL c1870's & in near complete condition. It requires some restoration to wheels & body. all ironwork is complete & original & a hand forged work of art. This is one of the most amazing collectables on EBAY seen in a long long time. This hearse features the rare conservatory glass top. Side glass is missing & replacement required. floor requires rebuilding.  much of the carving is there & can be copied. A VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY TO AQUIRE ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL HORSE DRAWN VEHICLES. Q: What history do you have on this. rare vehicle please. such as maker. local or imported . any other info !! I'd have thought it would have coach lights mounted on the side. somewhere? Regards. Pete06-Jul-13A: hi pete. The hearse was imported many years ago & is a rare example from Malta as far as I know. It was discovered recently after over 50 years storage in the outskirts of Sydney i was told. at a small auction of a few horse drawn vehicles from an elderly collector near Windsor. it has four lamp positions. I am loading up some other photos of a few that have been restored by a funeral director in malta & now in use. The actual style of the hearse is truly amazing. as can be seen in the pics. This hearse could be restored to the once magnificent example it was. Or left as is with a clean & polish/repair. regards Steve
