1966 Ford Thunderbird, rare classic, 428cu 2dr all original, very solid

Very rare 66 Thunderbird with the 428cu engine. All original parts present including hub caps. mirrors. spats. spare wheel etc. This car is the top of the range Landau hard top model. It has the swing away steering wheel. Starts well every time. Original leaf spring suspension. Engine rebuilt with receipts. does need a tune but runs really strong. New custom exhaust. sounds amazing. 650 holley carb. This is a very genuine complete car which is so hard to find now.
I imported the car from the USA around 6 years ago. all registered. MOT until March. Tax exempt. Exceptional underneath. has the odd area of surface rust. dinks and wear due on the bodywork to the age of the car. Does need paint. so could be superb once prepped etc. Unfortunately someone dented the drivers side door very recently in a supermarket car park. have included the picture. I have been told it will push out and is not bad. but the picture is there for you to decide.  Chrome is OK but would need a buff up and has a couple of dips. Original weatherstripping. so quite perished but doesn't leak. Headlining all good. I do have the steering wheel centre and rear view mirror. Interior is generally in very good condition. original carpets etc. Some of the kick boards are damaged. Have tried to show  any bad points in pictures. All dials work. electric windows.  Sequential rear lights. they are very cool. Just over 60k miles. Was told by the previous owner that this was original mileage but I don't have the service history. but pedal wear etc would suggest so. Dash pad cracked (all yanks pretty much get this). slight scratches on windscreen where a previous owner must have had a bad wiper blade. This car is a project which will be amazing once finished. but could quite happily be used as is.  I need the space and that's the selling reason. I have used her as a daily driver in the past and is very reliable. Obviously the car is sold as seen and any inspection is welcome. The price is very reasonable and once painted etc these very rare cars usually sell up to 15k. but I just don't have the time or the space. so would love her to go to someone who will restore her up to her former glory!Obviously this is an unrestored 50 year old car and as such has the wear and tear of time and use.
