2002 BMW 3-Series 325ci

If you've been looking for a super clean. low mileage E46 for the best convertible weather of the season that is upon us. I have the one you have been looking for.

I offer you my 2002 325iC in black with tan leather. The vehicle has been meticulously maintained throughout it's life. has the few minor 'known issues' from this era addressed. has never seen snow and rain only a few times and needs absolutely nothing but your rear in the seat. hands on the wheel and wind in your hair.

The paint is shiny(check the cloud reflections in the photos). waxed regularly and only hand washed with microfiber. The car is not smithsonian material but it's a super clean vehicle with only a couple extremely minor dings and light scratches. It's just going to happen to a car you drive. However. this is one of the cleanest 2002's I've ever seen and in better shape than most 2-3 year old vehicles out there.

The vehicle drives straight as an arrow. does not shake. shimmy or vibrate a touch. all the way to 80mph (and beyond but I dont drive like that). The engine is smooth and responsive and the transmission does not slip or miss any gears. The vehicle has no issues at all (I would have taken care of it long ago. had it ever) and is a pleasure to drive. It turns heads all the time and people are often asking about my "new BMW" but are blown away to find out it's a 2002. This is a car that you can be proud to own and be seen in.

On the mechanical side. I'm going to admit. this is where the obsessive-compulsive thing works in your favor. I'm an engineer and do all my maintenance and mechanic work myself. I simply do not trust anyone else to do it right and that is why I have many friends and family members that bring their vehicles to me. So here are the things that have been done regularly;
- Recommended Castrol Synthetic Oil Changes (BMW recommends 15. 00 mile changes - I do them at 5. 00)
- Air/Fuel/Cabin filters replaced every 10k
- Tires rotated every 5k - Car has Bridgestone tires with low miles on them. They look new.
- Washed. waxed and detailed

Here are the not so regular maintenance and 'known issue' items with this model that have been addressed that you wont find when buying from another seller or a dealer;
- Transmission pan dropped. fluid exchanged with synthetic BMW fluid. Internal filter. gasket and retaining bolts replaced with BMW parts
- Alternator is a known problem on this car and was replaced at 55. 00 miles as preventative item.
- Water pump impeller is a known failure item and the factory pump was replaced with a high quality aftermarket pump with metal impeller at 60k. Belt was replaced at this time as well as the entire cooling system flushed
- Water pump pulley is plastic from the factory and was replaced with a high quality metal unit at 60k
- Cooling Fan clutch is known to leak internal fluid and fail. Unit was replaced with a high quality aftermarket unit as well as the plastic fan. which is known to come apart between 60k and 70k
- Final Stage Resistor is a known problem for these vehicles which causes the blower motor to run on only high or not at all. That was replaced at the 60k mark.

I have no doubts that the high bidder at the end of this listing will be pleased to drive and own this fine E46 convertible.
