Ok . Up for your consideration is my 1964 Chevy C10. short box. nbsp;step side pick up.  I bought this truck from an elderly lady on the south side of Atlanta 3 years ago.  A relative of mine let me know she was selling it. so I went and looked . I have never had a vehicle this old -- most of my collections are late 1970's to late 1980's cars that I loved when I was a teenager . I went and looked and did as much research as I could and made her an offer and bought it.
The reason I bought it was simple . The truck is in really nice original condition.  Its obviously been repainted at some time or another. but the condition of everything inside and out shouts "original miles" -- can't obviously guarantee this. but seeing is believing.  The interior condition of the seat. nbsp;floor mats. and pedals are just amazing for this old a vehicle.  The glass is real nice and gaskets are all there in good shape.  The windows roll up and down like they are supposed to.  The clutch is tight and grabs when its supposed to.  The steering has very little play (if any).  The choke works and the trucks starts up and runs like a TOP . It goes down the road very smoothly (almost like a new one - seriously).  Zero shimmy. zero shake. pulls HARD and stops like its supposed to.  Tires are good.
As seen in a few photos. there are some what look like original crayon marks that appear to be original.  The previous owner had the original carb rebuilt with NOS parts (as she told me were very difficult to find).  Its fires up and runs GREAT.
I am at kind of a loss on this one. only because I do not know about these old trucks.  It was just too nice to pass up.  It even has what appears to be the ORIGINAL wood bed under the piece of steel that someone along the way welded over it (looks to be easily removed).
My plan for this truck was to restore it. but I think its better served being an original.  I am not sure of the engine size. I guessed. so you Chevy guys will probably know by the vin which one it its.  I know its the in line 6. 3 on the tree.  I have (and have had) WAY too many cars. so I am selling off my collection.  This truck is sold on bill of sale only (as required in GA when a car is pre 1998). with a current registration in my name. renewed the last three years.  As you can see. the truck has been in GA since at least 1982. and was garaged for the last 10 years or so by the previous owner.  Its been in my climate controlled garage for the last 3.  Please have YOUR representative verify what I have claimed.  This could be that diamond in the rough.  I have a very fair reserve. and have priced it to sell.  PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK ON VERY EXPENSIVE ITEMS.  IF YOU HAVE ZERO OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. I WILL CANCEL YOU BID UNLESS GIVEN PRIOR PERMISSION.  If you need ANY other pix or information. please don't hesitate to call.  Thanks and happy bidding.  Jason @ 770 206 01 SIX EIGHT.
