HQ GTS 4 Monaro Sedan

Up for very regrettable auction/sale is my genuine 3/1973 HQ GTS Monaro.
I had originally owned this car back in 2001'ish as a young bloke and had to sell it as I couldn't afford to run it. I had the car completely resprayed and it was looking beautiful when sold. Over the years I lost track of the car and had always wondered where it got to. Then around 6-7 years later as fate would have it I stumbled across the car again but was in a terrible state after having swiped a guard rail and having the front end donated from an original HQ SS. I have owned the car for around 5-6 years with intentions of restoring it to it's original glory but unfortunately my circumstances have changed and once again I have to sell my pride and joy.
The car is a complete matching number car (LITERALLY EVERYTHING)

The car is one of the most original HQ's I have seen. All the above numbers are as the car left the factory. From the numbers I can tell you that the only ones that do not match the car today are the trans. It has been fitted with a later model Tri-matic from an early Commodore. Other than this you will have to look long and hard to find a HQ GTS Sedan that has all matching numbers to this extent. The Stromberg carby is usually thrown away on a HQ but this on has stayed with the car it's entire life and also still retains the original and correct HQ 2 barrel air cleaner.
The car is missing its correct seats. door trims. carpet. seatbelts and dash pad. It comes with complete GTS guages that would need to be cleaned up. The engine is completely pulled apart from when I bought the car the second time round.  
The body on the car presents very straight. It does have some rust showing in both rear wheel arches which you can buy rust repair sections for. There is some rust starting in the rear of the top passengers side rear window in the edge of the rain gutter but nothing bad and a tiny bit at the front of the same rain gutter. It has had the front cowl panels replaced and are rust free although the passengers side has been fitted slightly sitting up on the outer edge and would need to be replaced again. NO RUST in the sills or the bottoms of the front guards. rear quarter panels. beaver panels. firewall. boot floor or floor pans where they usually go. The doors do have some rust in the bottoms but rather than wasting money having it replaced I have purchased a perfectly straight and rust free doors. It comes with a stack of parts that I have collected over the years.
Car is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to remove the car from auction at any time if I am offered the right money elsewhere.  
Item is pickup only or will help with transport at your cost but the car wont be going anywhere until funds have cleared in my account but in saying this I do prefer that you come and inspect the car so you know what you are buying before hand.
