What a great looking little Mini! Its just been restored and is ready for shows! The car has had thousands spent on it getting it to look and drive they way it does! Its got Mot until the end of November. and of course taxed until April next year due to being tax exempt! The car has had some very expensive upgrades carried out which may not be for the "purists" out there but if your a mini fan im sure you will appreciate the level of work the car has undergone.
The exterior.
Its had a full windows out respray in two pack grey. it looks great on the car. It had new bumpers. mirrors. wheels and tyres. all the glass has been replaced and the windscreen has the top tint. The car has cooper S badges on the boot and the bonnet. twin petrol caps. one is just for show though!  The colour looks great in the flesh and the pictures dont do it justice!
Interior.
The car has had new carpets. new Cobra seats. brand new headlining. its comes with a fully powder coated roll cage but only the rear section is currently fitted. ill leave it upto the new owner to decide whether to fit the front section. its had a boot tidy fitted and looks great inside the boot!
Engine and gearbox.
The car has a 1275 engine fitted. it starts 1st time every time and runs very nicely. the gearbox is good with no clunks or whines. its a nice dry engine and and has plenty of power. its fitted with a stainless exhaust so sounds great too! It does not over heat nor does it smoke!
Suspension and brakes.
The car got fully adjustable suspension all round!  On the front it has coilovers. vented and grooved discs with Billet 4 pot calipers and braided hoses. the rear has large drums. The rear subframe is gone and upgraded to fully independent suspension. no more alignment issues on the rear! Underneath is solid with nearly everything else being new or nearly new. The suspension can be raised or lowered to your choice. you can have it set very hard. or make it softer for a better drive!
Cars History.
The car has been reshelled using a new Heritage shell. thats the only way DVLA will allow the car to keep its original year of manufacture and still retains its historic vehicle status. Its the only "legal" way of doing this is with a new shell. This was done in 1988. the new shell is totally rot free. the scuttle is mint too. underneath is solid and has been detailed.
Summary.
This is a stunning looking mini that has modern day suspension and brakes. its been restored inside and out and mechanically its great. Theres not much history with the car other than some old mots. its only done 500 miles in the last 5 years! Its only recently been finished off and is now ready to use again. the amount of looks and attention this car gets is unbelievable. everyone loves it! Id advise viewing the car to satisfy yourself. its hard to price a car like this so im listing it with no reserve and whoever wins will have a great tax exempt mini that doesnt need anything doing other than polishing and driving. I have plenty more pictures and will be taking some of the underneath in the week.
