Here we have an amazing example of an iconic car from the 80's. the Ford Capri 2. 8 Injection.
This stunning example has covered only 56. 00 Miles from new and it really is like looking at a 2 year old car.
Starting with the paintwork and bodywork. Well I see many of these cars a local shows etc. but this example is by far the best condition example I have seen. The paintwork has the deepest all over shine. lovely Gloss Black paintwork with its distinctive 2. 8 injection stripes . it looks fantastic. Look closer and you will see that this condition continues where ever you look. The wheel arches are all perfect. all the panel gap looks as they should. look down the sides. across the bonnet. there are no dings or dents. Then look inside the arches. look underneath. all panels etc appear to be original. this is as clean and genuine Ford Capri as you are going to find. This car is ready to take to shows now. its a fantastic example.
Inside this car . well its like it still could be sat in a Ford showroom. The lovely Recaro sport seats are unworn. they are still as super comfortable as they were from day 1. The carpets. heel pad etc. are all unmarked. Look at the matching door cards. all just as good complete with original speaker grills etc. Look at the dash. no cracks and as fresh looking as you will find. Look at the headlining. it is as new. The lovely thick steering wheel still has all the grip it should have. its a lovely interior thats been perfectly looked after.
Open the boot. lift the bonnet. its all just as nice. The unmarked boot carpet lifts to reveal an equally as clean spare wheel area. complete with jack etc. Under the bonnet. its just as clean and original.
Turn the key. and the lovely V6 2. 8i engine springs instantly into life. a lovely quiet and smooth tick over. The 5 speed gear shift feels reassuringly tight. this car is great fun to drive.
This car has clearly been carefully looked after from new. It deserves a new owner who wants to do the same.
