1974 Ford XB Coupe XA XB XC in QLD

Up for sale is my 1974 Xb falcon 500 coupe. Car is a 302 Cleveland with a C4 auto which is pretty much factory other than a 600 Holley and a set of extractors. I've owned this car for about 9 years now. but it's time to sell it as it's not getting the use it should. It was originally a 6 cylinder column shift manual so is obviously NOT MATCHING NUMBERS (the 302 is what the mod-plate is for). Mechanically this car is trouble free. it starts and drives great. It has had everything that needed doing done when the 302 was put in. including new exhaust system. tail shaft. radiator. transmission service. Motor serviced including new water pump. alternator. carburettor. dizzy overhaul and more. New brake lines and rebuilt xf callipers in the front. standard drums in rear and the shocks were replaced with Monroe gas a couple of years ago. It's running the factory Borg Warner diff. Battery is only a few months old too.

The car was re-sprayed for the first time (have a few pics of before re-spray) about 5 years ago in the original 'polar white' colour and is in great condition. the boot is the only place that didn't get painted as I was hoping to put a 36 gallon tank in but never got around to it. Complete new rubber kit was fitted throughout after paint job and new windscreen.  

Wheels are 'Boyd Coddington. junkyard dog'. rears 20x9 with 275/30. and fronts 18x8 with 235/40. kumho's all round which have done less than 1000k's.

Interior is nice and clean. new carpet and re-trimmed front seats. back seat. roof lining and dash are original but in good nick.   New seatbelts front and back too.

Front and rear bars have been to the chromers and are perfect.

I also have some spares that come with the car if it reaches the reserve. like original 'power by ford' rocker covers. air filters. spare rear bumper. spare grill. gt fuel cap. nos fuse box. pair of driving lights. rear view mirrors. a superfringe radio. factory air con box and dash controls. badges. set of 4 original jellybean wheels with good tyres. spare light lenses and more.

Car is registered until December and I'm happy to supply a road worthy certificate. Car is located in Clontarf. Brisbane (NOT Mermaid Waters as the description says). I'm happy to help out getting it to a transport depot for interstate buyers.
