Just to start off this limo was built by a professionals. I take this car close to my heart because it was built by my dad. Dad is alive and well and he is a modern day renaissance man. With many custom built cars in his resume he has accomplished more than any of these car builders you see on TV. This is a very well built limousine in every aspect. or for what it represents. We call it a 1937 Mercedes Benz Landaulet with all emblems representing Mercedes Benz. The body is all steel construction except for the front and rear fenders which are one off fiberglass. It has a very heavy-duty rectangular frame construction that is very solid with little to no flex. All Ford drivetrain with a 390 cu in V8 that is fully rebuilt with around 4000 miles. that includes a fully rebuilt Ford Automatic transmission. Both engine and trans were rebuilt at the same time. Everything on this car is custom built including the grille which was made spacifically for this car. All the lights and trim are correct for this era of car. Modern power steering. power brakes and cold A/C for the passengers in the rear. Plus TV and great sound system. You can seat 4 passengers in comfort with a power center divider for the passengers privacy. This limousine one of a kind travertine floors with full custom leather interior lots of custom wood work. full marble bar and yes fiberoptic on the ceiling. Very unique Landaulet rear power convertible top you will not find on and other limo. which opens with a touch of a button. Many have tried to built and stretch vintage limousines and have not received the best results. I have seen Austin Princess desguised as Rolls Royces or Rolls Royces that were stretched with incorrect shapes or dangerous brakes and frames to put passengers in. I have been in the limousine business for many years and this was by far my most reliable and most rented limousine in my fleet next to new Escalades and Hummers. Plus this limo does not need to be replaced every 4 years because a new body will come out actually it becomes more desirable as time passes. Now Iam out of the limo business and don't use this car much and i hate to see it parked and not used so thats why i want to sell it. Car is registered as a 1972 Lincoln. It has a Vin plate riveted on by the California Highway Patrol which corresponds to the modified 1972 Lincoln so no smog. The Rolls Royce in the pictures is not part of the sale. Car is located in Burbank Ca 10 miles north of Los Angeles inspections are welcomed. I might have forgotten additional information so it is best to call me with any questions so you are confident when bidding. International bidders are welcomed and since i have shipped many cars overseas I know most of the overseas shippers here in the so cal area. Van 818-455-7836Happy Bidding!!
