1967 CHEVY C10 PICKUPNO RESERVE AUCTION!!Offered for sale is my 1967 Chevy C10 pickup. I have owned this truck approximately 6 years. when I purchased it as a very recent restoration (body on). Truck is a very solid Midwest truck (purchased from an Iowa dealer).  I would not say that it is a "show quality"truck. but it is an excellent driver quality pickup.   Under the hood is a non-original 400 ci small block Chevy.   As the truck was built before I purchased it. I do not know too many specifics as to the guts of the engine.   It has a Holley 4-barrel carb. olted to an Edelbrock intake manifold.   It has a mild performance cam. nbsp; headers and dual exhaust (appear to be "aluminized" pipes).   Transmission is a 4-speed manual shifted by a Hurst shifter.   Engine kicks right over and runs strong.   Rear differential is a non-positraction unit. most likely the original.   When I purchased the truck it had the stock. manual drum brakes on all four wheels. making the truck very difficult to stop at speed.   This summer we installed a new SSBC power front disc brake conversion kit. which improved braking tremendously.   Rear brakes remain the stock drum units.   When we were installing the brake system. we also replaced both rear trailing arms with new units. and replaced the bushings for the trailing arms with better quality silicon pieces.   All brake lines were replaced from the master cylinder to the rear axel.   Also replaced all 4 shocks.   Truck drives. and tracks very well.        The truck is a ton of fun. but it is a handful to drive.   No power steering. so you won't be one-handing it around turns. you'll need both hands.   This is NOT a resto-mod.   It drives and handles like a 1967 pickup truck. not a modern sports car.   The truck has been garaged every day that I have owned it. and never seen rain. I don't smoke. and no family members do. so it is a smoke-free truck. The exterior of the truck is very clean. most emblems have been removed. except for the Chevy V8 emblems on the front fenders. and a "Hurst Equipped" emblem on the tail gate.   I do have new C10 fender emblems that come with the truck. Paint is in excellent condition. and it really "pops" in the sunlight. the tealblue is great color on these classic Chevy trucks. Door handles have been removed. and the drivers front door opens by pressing a button under the tonneau cover.   Makes for a very smooth look.   The antennae has been frenchedinto the pillar behind the passenger door.   So. there are a few subtle custom touches that makethe truck very unique.   It would. however. be relitively easy to get the truck back to a verystock appearance.   Air conditioning is installed. but not working.   Blows warm air. Clarion audio. with input for iPod. sounds good. Wheels are 20" Torque Thrust six spokes all the way around.   Tires are Yokohama Parada Spec-X245/45 R20 in the front. and 275/55R20 in the rear. less than 2000 miles on these tires. Truck is a longbed model. and the bed is presently covered with a tonneau cover which matches the color of the truck.   Cover is great quality and in very good shape. no rips or tears.   The bed floor itself. however. is the original steel bed. and it is not in the best shape. It is painted the same blue as the body. and while it is very solid. it does have some rust in the rear corners. as seen in the photos.    Obviously. with the tonneau cover on. it is out of sight. Truck has been rock-solid dependable for me.   I use it only in fair weather. and generally for shortdistance trips to local shows. and local cruises around town. where it always gets a bunchof attention.   People really love it. most folks had one or knew someone who owned oneof these when they were younger. so they are quick to check it out.   Could it take a long distance trip?  Honestly. I haven't used it for that. but don't see why it couldn't. If you're looking for a truck that is a just blast to drive. a truck that is a very honest. oldschool hot rod. and a truck that will get a bunch of attention on Friday and Saturdaynight driving around town. this one is right on the money!
Truck presently shows 64+ thousand miles on the odometer.   I do not know what the actual miles are.
I have a clean NJ title for the truck in hand.   It passed NJ state inspection a few monthsago. so it is good to go till March of 2018.

Truck is located in Bridgewater. NJ  (central NJ)I work nights. so I get home daily around noon.  I can be available most any day ifyou are interested and want to check it out.   I strongly recommend that you check the truck outbefore you buy!!  I have been as honest as I can. but I want you to know EXACTLY what you are buying BEFORE you buy it so there is no confusion.   If you have any questions. don't hesitate to ask. and I will answer astruthfully as I can.
I had this truck listed at a "Buy It Now" price of 14. 00. and it did not sell. I am listing it now as an auction starting at 11. 00. and that is the absolute lowest I will accept. as I have far more than 19K invested in the truck. There is no reserve. no nonsense.
TRUCK IS STILL FOR SALE LOCALLY. SO IF IT SELLS. AUCTION IS OVER!
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!FIRST BID ABOVE 11. 00 BUCKS COULD TAKE HER HOME. O DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU FULLY INTEND TO BUY!
