The 38 Deluxe Phaeton is one of 1169 built that year-the rarest of Fords built. Their is believed to be less than 200 left in existence . Last year for no pillars between the doors. Model 81A - L head V-8 with a 3 speed manual transmission. Solid front axle and live rear axle with transverse semi-ellipticalleaf springs. 4 wheel mechanical drum breaks. Wheelbase is 112". Converted to a 12 volt system but includes original 6 volt generator. Deep luster Merlot Burgundy with tan/brown interior and new top.
