1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

DESCRIPTION:  This is a very nice 1988 Mercedes Benz 560SL. a sought after classic that's very fun to drive.   It turns heads and generates questions from folks on almost every outing.   It's powered by a bulletproof 5. 6Liter V8 engine and automatic transmission.   The soft-top is original and still keeps out water.   There is no hard-top.

For its age the mileage is quite low.   The car has only been driven ~10K miles in the past 12 years.   The chrome rims are new. the tires have excellent tread. the battery is new and the engine is smooth.   I've had both the engine and transmission checked a number of times by mechanics and they are sound.   The car is road worthy as is.

The vehicle has been garage kept all of its life.   It's a smoke-free car.  

DISCLOSURE:  There is a ding just behind the driver's door where a shopping cart rolled into the vehicle.   I'd not driven the car in a long time and I took out at 11pm for a late-night spin.   One of the very few customers in the lot let a cart roll into it.   I can tell you it made me sick.   I've attempted to get a pic of the ding but with all of the shine it's really tough to see it.   Let me know if you want more pics of any angle.   The air conditioning and cruise control don't work.   I don't know what will be required to fix them.

LOCATION:  This car is located in Round Rock. TX.   All bidders are welcome to personally view and test drive the car.   You are advised to do all of your inspections before the auction ends and not after.  This car is sold as is where is without any given warranties written or implied.   This car is not new and I am not claiming it to be one.   However. it is a very nice used classic that you can be proud to own.
