For sale is my rally based Austin mini City E. with 49500 miles! All the welding and hard work has been done after about 18 moths getting it back on the road. It has had a few holes welded up like in the boot and foot wells etc the usual mini places. It is is a prity solid car as and no more welding is needed. The paint work is in good condition to say it is nearly 32 years old! i was told by the previous owner it has had a respray some years ago (about 10 ish) there is only a few little bubbles on the bottom of the doors but nothing major and a few on the roof. just me being honest you can hardly tell. The subframes were replaced by the previous owner at some point and are solid with no rust. It started it life out as a 998cc. this was soon swapped to the later 1275cc MPI engine belived to have done around 50k mile ish. The engine is a 1275 MPI running on a MEGA JOLT ecu.  It has had some modifications to it to make it a more fun car to drive this includes

I used to use it to do a bit of auto testing in it a few little navigational rallys etc. that is why its rally inspired. it was a good fun car. it has had a engine rebuild see the pictures above. It had to have a crank regrind and new shells. The engine has all been run in now. It has mot till December 2016.
It could do with a fine tune on a rolling road just to set the carbs back up as iv treated it to big valve head when I had it rebuilt. All the jets for the carbs shims etc and megajolt installation CD come with it. iv only took it out a few times this year. i have had some good fun times in it and will be sad to see it go. I just don't use it enough and Iv got other cars taking my time and money up and I cant afford to keep three on the road.
viewing can be arranged on evenings and weekends. if you want any more info ask away.

This advert is really old!! I've only just realised... this was my first car, can you let me know any details of where she went?
