Alfa Romeo Spider first registered 1998

Alfa Romeo Spider Series 3. A good example of an increasingly rare model. made famous by the film The Graduate. The car is a 2. 0L example finished in classic Italian red. which looks fantastic in the sunshine. I have owned this car for the past six years and have been very impressed with its reliability. having recently covered just over 82. 00 miles in its 31 years. It has been maintained by a local Alfa Romeo specialist during my ownership where it has also received some tasteful upgrades. which only help the driving experience. It has recently received new chrome wipers and arms as well as new headlight covers and door mirrors to freshen it up for the summer. The car has been dry stored over the winter and I only use it when the weather is dry and bright to keep it away from the salt. It has always started well and pulls strongly from low revs. easily keeping up with modern traffic. The left hand drive cars. of which this is one. are definitely the best to drive and look more original to the model. The car does have some rust spots. see photos. but that is to be expected on a cars of its seniority. I would strongly recommend the car is viewed to appreciate its value. The car has a current MOT expiring July 17. but is on sorn. It has always been well maintained as I have said by an Alfa specialist and the most recent work done includes - rear callipers. pads. shims and pins. new fuel hose. two new tyres. sealed underside of floor pan. hand brake adjusted and all levels topped up. Whilst being a head turner and great to drive this car is not concourse material but it is sound everywhere but has some rust spots. Only for sale due to me reducing my car collection ready for an impending house move . Please note the Graduate model was made for the US market after it appeared in the film of the same name with Dustin Hoffman. this car was originally white and was changed to red prior to me owning it. It is a fun car to drive with incredible road holding and will give hours of motoring enjoyment. I recommend viewing to be sure the new owner is happy. but please no tyre kickers or test pilots. The car is in Retford North Nottinghamshire close to the A1. Payment is by the following - cash on collection .
