1967 Ford Cortina Former Cams Logged Race CAR for sale

1967 MK2 Ford Cortina 440.

Here is a very rare old race Cortina. She is CAMS logged and was last used in around 2007 going by the papers. She has been a race bred car for most of her life though the body is in very reasonable condition considering this. Its surprisingly straight except for a few rust areas that have come up over the years. Primarily boot lid and a couple other patches.

She can be returned to the road without much drama or hassle. Tending to rust and a couple of stiches that have come undone from the seats.

That's pretty much the bad stuff. now for the good;

-          Has a cast iron 5spd box which we cannot recognise. Had a few other people have a look and can't tell where its from. It was a race car and it's a very strong box so who know what it could be.

-          Lotus diff in the rear.

-          KMAC suspension and sway bars all round.

-          Big caliper discs. Just spent $1400 redoing entire braking system. calipers. lines. discs. etc.

-          Plenty of engine work has been done. We never opened it but being a former racer it has a very nice note. slightly lumpy and goes like a cut snake. She runs beautifully.

-          Mated to the 1600 is a DCOE 45 Weber.

-          Has widened wheels all round

-          GT interior.
