This is a GENUINE ex-group C race car. Also this was the VERY last Clubman GT delivered in Australia.
Bold as Brass (Yellow).
Delivered in 1973 to Vimy Ridge Service Station in South Australia to the Dealers son. David Jarrett. The car was prepared and competed in the 1973 Australian Manufacturers Touring Car Championship.
The car did the 1973 Adelaide 250 (class win) and the 1973 Sandown 250 race ( alongside Brock. Moffatt etc etc) and also won the touring car class at the 1973 Collingrove Hill climb.
Have photos and film and race programmes.
Still matching numbers.
Cage not fitted but a period alloy bond cage supplied.
Not car show standard but a very straight car overall. Original roll cage holes all still there. Original sway bars fitted. Mechanically very good. NOT FULL race spec at this point.
In January 1973 Leyland Australia prepared the last 200 Clubman GTs for export to New Zealand. At the very last minute they received two orders. one form the USA (!) and one from South Australia (THIS CAR).
History confirmed by the Jarrett family.
Transport at the buyers cost. Can assist to get to local transport depot.

Not all that keen to sell but I have quite a few classic car options and I have just restored another Clubman GT.
No more details here for obvious reasons.
A really collectible car at a moderate price. How many GTs are left let alone genuine period Group C cars. This may be the only Clubman GT group C surviving.
