ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT + COMMENTSImported to Canada from Japan in 2010. Purchased by me in October of 2015 from the person who imported it. Super clean. original paint. original interior. running very well. Has a Japanese manual. Not sure when it went to Japan from Germany.
This car has been serviced regularly and has had TONS of work done to keep it running as it should. It comes with lots of spares including a set of M-type rim. spare glass covered headlights. spare turn signal housings. bulbs. belts. a very hard to find air valve which is brand new. and lots of other goodies. The car had an aftermarket stereo. which I had removed and sourced a correct 93 BMW Cassette Radio which has had an auxillary jack fitted into it. It works perfectly and I have the code. The cost of doing so was ludacris. but this car deserves to be stock. Brakes were cleaned and serviced. I installed new rear springs and had a thorough service and oil change. I also recently purchased and installed a glass-packed (AGM) battery.
The previous owner replaced almost every single rubber component in the engine. He also had the oil pan. rear end. and transmission re-sealed. Valves have been done. Front suspension. rear struts… The list is immense. Very few things remain. If you were ULTRA picky you would probably change all the rubber seals on the exterior of the car as they are a bit hard from age. It has a correct shift knob. but it isn't monogrammed with the M logo - these are availble through BMW. The tires are decent. Paint is not perfect. but is mostly original.
