Porsche Carrera 911 Junior. serial X148F.

I am posting this for another party but I have seen the car and taken the pictures you see here. so I can answer any questions.

The owner won the car in a contest when he was a kid and has had it ever since. He is now building a house for his family and unfortunately his prized Porsche Junior has to be sacrificed to help with the costs. This does not mean he wants to just let it go. he wants it to go to a good home and get an acceptable price for this rare Porsche collectible.

It is a 1\2 scale Carrera with Honda G100 gas engine. Finished in Porsche Guards Red. this car has disc brakes. 2-speed gear box with reverse. an actual working clutch actuated by a pedal. shock absorbers. black leatherette seat. horn. headlights. brake lights. signal lights. rack and pinion steering. fibreglass body. whale-tail spoiler and imitation tonneau cover. It has a "crawl mode" for toddlers so it doesn't get away from them. No manual comes with the car. it has been misplaced after all these years.

Originally produced in very limited numbers (approx. 224) in the mid 1980s for kids. the Porsche Carrera 911 Junior is exceptionally rare and much sought after. This gorgeous one-owner example has been in a bedroom for the past 21 years and is completely ready to drive. The lights have never been hooked up. but all of the wiring is there as it came out of the box; brakes. transmission and clutch all work and it has been driven so little that some of the "tits" are still on the tires. It was used once for a couple of laps at the local speedway pacing the cars and once in a parade. Last time running was 2 years ago and all gas was drained afterwards.

The vehicle does not appear to have a "CE" number which I am told means it cannot be imported into European Union countries. I am trying to get more information on this.

There have been offers offline and the car is for actively for sale locally. so the listing will be ended if the buyer decides to take one of the offers.

Being an unrestored car. there are a few scratches and chips as are shown in the photos. If you would like more photos. please ask and I will try to accommodate your request. I would like to get some photos outside. but the railing on the stairs will probably have to be taken down to facilitate moving it. so we only want to do that once. when the car is sold.

Once purchased. a $500 deposit or the full amount via PayPal is required within 2 days of the end of the auction. If a deposit is made. the balance is due within 7 days or other arrangements made and the payment must be cleared before the car will be shipped. Buyer is responsible for any shipping charges and additional fees such as. but not limited to. customs or duties for their country.
