Ford : Falcon

1966 Ford Falcon. Under 29000 original miles! This Supreme Sedan is a true survivor with all the style and twice the doors! This car runs and drives perfectly. It shows well at cruise nights all summer and is a great driver for all road trips. Appraised as a Category 2 "near perfect shape" car in 2011. Selling in as-is condition. This car is Ontario plated and insured. It is driven regularly to car shows all over the Southern Ontario area and is a safe. reliable car.

Original rebuilt 200 cubic inch in-line six cylinder. Original rebuilt 3 speed manual transmission ("3 on the tree" - column shift). Original rebuilt single barrel carburetor. Original rebuilt points distributor. Original rebuilt starter. Original rebuilt fuel pump. Original rebuilt gas tank (interior sandblasted and coated). All rebuilds completed at around 20000 miles. Recent exhaust replacement. Last safetied in Ontario in August 2012. at 25000 miles. Manual steering and 4-wheel manual drum brakes. New parking brake cable. Two year old battery. 4-bolt 13-inch wheels. at least 70% life left on the tires.

Very clean body with minor repairs that aren't noticeable at all. The turquoise (almost Tiffany Blue) paint is about 15 years old and in great condition. There are a few slight scratches and chips due to summer use. There have been some minor repairs to the undercarriage and trunk and the car is solid. There is only a slight bit of rust starting to come through at the left rear corner. The glass is excellent and the chrome/stainless is great.

The interior is in great condition with the front bench having some minor rips in the seat on the passenger side. The head liner has a small tear at the rear window. The dash pad has two cracks at the centre speaker grille. Radio-delete option with wiring in the glove box for a modern stereo. including antenna and rear 6x9s. Aftermarket tachometer and triple gauge cluster installed. All gauges function properly except aftermarket temperature. Original temperature gauge works. so aftermarket one not hooked up. Manual door locks and manual crank windows. The car has not been smoked in since at least August 2012. but the rear ash trays show some signs of use. There is no other smoking damage in the car. nor is there any smoke-smell. I have both sets of original keys and the original owner's manual.

The car was is storage for over 10 years until around 2000 when it was restored to this condition. This car has a clean (lien-free. not salvage) Ontario title. which I have in hand.

The photos show the bad spots. These are the worst of it. There are a few other very small chips and scratches.
