Seller's notes: Power antenna stopped working last month. OEM new is not available so the GM dealer serviced the original and removed the plastic cable inside. The antenna now is manually operable in same manner as original power. I thought that was better than the other option of an aftermarket generic standard mast antenna. It still retracts into the fender but manually. The drivers front fender was repainted years ago for a small scratch.

Up for sale is an outstanding example of a 1981 Caprice Classic 4-Dr Sedan with 26. 00 original miles. 305 Cid/5. 0L V8 4bbl.  It is fully loaded including Comfortron A/C.  All options function as they should.  A/C is ice cold. heat is firey hot. cruise holds steady. transmission shifts smoothly. amp; engine runs strong.  The car has no leaks and burns no oil.  The exterior is all original including wide tape stripes and mouldings.  The interior is pristine and spotless. The headliner is perfect.  Chrome is mirror like as is all bright trim.  The car still has its 4 original Uniroyal Steelers wide white wall radials. which were just replaced last week for safety as they had a few cracks starting. The windshield wipers are the original mat/satin finish steel. The car has been a show car for the last 10 years.  The engine is clean. dry. and detailed.  In the last year the car has received:  new rad. belts. hoses. heater core. battery. starter. rebuild on the alt. windshield washer pump. 4 monroe gas shocks.  all fluids changed ( oil. prestone. power steering. transmission & rear end) . And 4 new radial tires. The paint is mirror shiney and was perma shined when new.  The car was also Ziebarted when new.  It gets looks and compliments everywhere we go. Recently traveled over 1000 miles on our family vacation with no issues in 100F degree temps with no issues. The car has been serviced to the hilt over the years and always sat in an air conditioned garage in Palm Beach since December of 1980. Grandpa drove this car with pride to weddings and funerals.  It has been lovingly cared for in his memory for years since as a show car.  Moving and no longer have indoor storage. Appraised at $18. 00. 00 .  My loss your gain.  The car has just been inspected and passed with flying colors ( of course ). The pictures speak volumes!  Will help with arrangements.  Move date is Aug 30th.
