Here is an opportunity to purchase a rare 1946 Ford Tudor Super Deluxe V8 Flathead 239cui.
She is a Phoenix Arizona car and was "stored" in Arizona from '66 through to '06. When found. the car was brought to NZ. Before the trip she received a new set of brakes and wheel cylinders. a new fuel tank and sender unit. new Mono leaf springs and shackles front and rear which have lowered her 4". A new carburator. Distributor. Fuel pump. belts and hoses. speedo and new Mercury rims. tyres and hubcaps. and battery cables were fitted along with recalibrating and overhauling the speedo. The seats were reupholstered and new carpets fitted. All fluids were flushed and changed. She recieved a black over black body paint with no rust in the body an issue.
On arriving in New Zealand in 2007 she received a reconditioned motor and gearbox costing near to NZ$9. 00. In NZ she has only travlled around 5. 00 miles with 3. 00 miles on the new engine.
She comes with the following paperwork: "Sacremento Ford parts manual". original "Ford parts manual" x 2. and "A Reference guide to Ford 1946. 47. 48". There are most receipts for the NZ leg and there are a couple from the USA leg of her life journey. There are a couple of letters from the USA side relating to the USA owner and the shipping company. so she has a good traceable history.
She has been a very well loved and cared for car. Would suit classic enthusiaist or could be converted if hot rods are your thing.
