1994 'M' Mercedes Benz SL280 Auto

This is a beautiful car which only became available due to bereavement and has covered just 26. 00 miles from new. The service history details previous servicing at 1116. 2553. 7181. 10131. service with mileage not entered ( MOT history indicates circa 15000 miles ). 20207 and 23829 miles. In addition to the stamped service book we have a print out from Mercedes of all works carried out on the vehicle together with full MOT history from VOSA which demonstrates very little use each year - from July 2011 to June 2013 the car covered just 24 miles !

Retained by the original elderly owner until 2004. the car then passed to a family member and later to an elderly family friend who sadly passed away. The car has been garaged all it's life and has never been allowed out in bad weather. and it shows ! The condition is really quite exemplary with no visible marks on the bodywork at all. a real credit to it's owner. Likewise the interior is quite simply as new. genuinely looking as though it has never been sat in. The 250 mile drive home was a total joy. the car performing beautifully and everything working exactly as it should. this definitely ranks among the best examples you are ever likely to see. Incidentally. when we collected the car we estimated 25 miles to the gallon for the return journey and had almost half a tank remaining at our destination. therefore the motorway fuel consumption must be exceeding 30mpg - pretty impressive for a car with 143mph performance !

Finished in stunning metallic green ( Tourmaline ? ). the interior is trimmed in beige hide with beige carpets. all completely unmarked and protected by Mercedes over mats. The interior further benefits from lockable rear storage cubbys so you can safely leave items in the car with the roof down. The black soft top is completely unmarked and as new as is the body coloured hard top. The original first aid kit is all present and correct. the spare wheel has never been on !

Specification of the period to include electric seats. Alpine stereo with CD player. remote central locking. alarm. immobiliser. electric windows. electric mirrors. fog lamps. driver and passenger air bags. 16 inch alloy wheels etc.

Supplied with original book pack containing owners manuals. stamped service book. original tool kit etc.
