This is a very rare vehicle that comes with the 7. 4L engine and the TH 400 automatic transmission. I am the second owner of this vehicle. It is Canadian built and sold in Edmonton Alberta. Canada. Had a complete body work done in 2008 and upgraded many items on the car to include carpeting. scuff plates. dash inserts from IN-DESIGN in the USA. windshield.  and continued under the hood where the engine was overhauled 30 over ($11200. 00) professionally. have all parts numbers and brands of these parts to complete the work. Stage 1 transmission shift kit. 4 core radiator. rebuilt original starter with MADE IN THE USA parts. battery. alternator. belts. GM cruise control. water pump. Edelbrock intake. Holley Carburetor. engine mounts. and also replaced shocks and springs to original specs. Police package brakes which was optional back in the day. AC removed but can be replaced as no lines were hacked out. All power options such as power windows. factory sunroof. trunk release. and locks are all in working order. The rubber nose on this vehicle just started to crack but will provide you with an US based company where these parts are still available and manufactured. Minor scratches on vehicle that can buff out easily. The total of dollars spent exceeds $28000. 00 but I am not looking to recover that at all. Priorities have changed and this rare car deserves a better home. It is a perfect car to start with as it does not need a lot to finish. It is driveable and reliable to go anywhere in Canada and the USA. Frame of vehicle is solid and rust is non existent. It has been rust protected by CROWN. that just gave me a peace of mind  in Ontario and it is a plus to next buyer. I will be replacing the sunroof liner on the inside.

Defects include minor scratches that a good buffing will take out. The rear deck or shelf behind back seat is not in great condition and the dash upfront has 2 cracks. The original spare tire/wheel combo are still in vehicle. All owners manuals and paperwork with the vehicle is still in its original package including the key to the power sunroof. Rear tires on car are brand new.   If you need any more photos please ask and I will get them for you. Frame is solid and no rust on vehicle. It has been garaged all its life and had very little to do when the body work was done.

Not included with car is the lighted hood ornament that you see in the picture. If you plan on picking up car. please ensure you have space available as there are numerous extra parts that will go with it ie. AC parts. rare inside panels. gage cluster. etc.

Will keep adding info about this car as I remember it. It was purchased by its first owner in 1975 out of Edmonton AB. This province is known to have rust free vehicles. Its first owner's health was deteriorating to a point where driving was very minimal. His 3 or 4 sons were arguing about this car. and the daughter as well.  so he decided to have no one get it in the family and no feuding over it among his children. My brother and I picked it up and started to improve on it since 2006.   2 Years ago. it went in my name from my brother's as he decided to leave the hobby completely :) and the car went into storage for 3 or 4 years as I spent some time in Afghanistan while serving Canadian Forces.

You want to turn heads at any car show. just look at the faces of people as you drive by in this GA. and nothing but compliments and intrigue as to "Where the hell did he get this car?" or " Man I never figured that they made Grand Ams back in the 70s. or "Now there is the real GA" plus the countless thumbs up and horns on the road. As much as I would like to hang on to it. my priorities have changed and this car deserves a better roof to go under.   Bidders were too close to the reserve and I am relisting this car.   AM I WILLING TO SHIP TO THE USA??     YES. Thank you
