1976 Porsche 911S Sunroof Coupe                                                  With 154. 96 miles; Vehicle ID #-9116201982-; I have known the car since 1979. I traded it from a URI athletic director who I met at a Porsche Club car show where the car won its class in the concourse. Several days later I took this car in trade on a 1979 911 SC. It has since been owned by two Rhode Island doctors. the first I sold the car to. and the last I have been involved with servicing the car over the years. It is a very nice survivor car with only slight ware and tare mostly to the driver's seat. It is mostly original paint and the forged alloy wheels all in good condition. It is finished in its original Sahara Beige (pale yellow) paint with Black vinyl seats and door panels and Navy blue carpet. The original spare and tools are under the hood. its manuals are in the glove box. This car has very little corrosion on it as you can see by the photos. The glass is all very good. all the locks work correctly. sunroof slides well. and the windows go up and down as designed and there is heat. It drives down the road very well. The struts travel well and the brakes stop smoothly and straight. The transmission shifts well going up the gears but has typical down shift scratching/grinding. power mirror works as well the sunroof motor.   Now for the bad news although it starts and runs well with good power the engine is ready to have its head bolts replaced. there is a slight compression loss on the right hand cylinder bank cylinders 1-2-3.
